Notice of Major Construction Activity and Truck Traffic

Cascade Water Alliance, owner of the White River/Lake Tapps project, is making significant improvements and enhancements to the system. As a result, there will be a greatly increased amount of heavy truck traffic from Highway 410 at Park Avenue left onto North River Avenue towards the flume now throughout February.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS:  Cascade Water Alliance will accept sealed bids at its offices, 520 112th Avenue NE, Suite 400, Bellevue WA 98004 for the Lake Tapps Headgate Improvement Project, generally consisting of the mechanical, electrical and structural rehabilitation of the diversion headgates, including demolition of the existing hoist machinery and rehabilitation of the gate structures. Labor & Industries Corrective Engineering Bid Package

Cascade Water Alliance will accept sealed bids at its offices for the Lake Tapps Labor & Industries Corrective Engineering Project, generally consisting of electrical work to correct electrical code violations identified by Labor and Industries. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 9 AM to 3 PM.

2014 Spring refill update

Lake Tapps reached recreational level in early May and will be maintained at approximately 542.5 feet. In mid – late July, Cascade will raise the lake level to the maximum allowed under agreements with the community (elevation 543.0 feet).

Media Release (PDF >) The WaterSense Road Show is a booth that Cascade brings to different community events, festivals and farmer’s markets to provide FREE water conservation-related items to the community; such as showerheads, kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators, rain gauges, and shower timers. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer questions about water conservation and Cascade’s programs.
