Lake Tapps Level Update

Lake Tapps is currently at elevation 542.07′. Cascade will resume active refill on May 2 and anticipates the reservoir will reach approximately elevation 542.5′ by May 7. The reservoir will be maintained at this level until May 14, when Cascade will actively fill the reservoir to approximately elevation 543.0′ (maximum full pool), which level should be reached no later than May 16. Lake Tapps Reservoir Level Update – March 24, 2016

The current Lake Tapps reservoir level is 541.69′. We are currently allowing the reservoir to raise slowly with normal weather conditions and anticipate achieving a level of 542′ by April 15 (recreational levels are 541.5′ to 543′). We expect to begin actively filling the reservoir with water from the White River in early April . The reservoir will remain between 542.0′ and 542.3′ for a few weeks and then it will be raised – as it is every year – to the maximum

The Lake Tapps reservoir is now at elevation 541.5 feet – the bottom of full recreational pool – and will continue to be between the 541.5 to 543 foot range throughout the spring and summer.
