Cascade Issues Invitation to Bid for Dingle Basin Boom Project

Cascade Water Alliance will accept sealed bids at its offices, 520 112th Avenue NE, Suite 400, Bellevue WA 98004, for the Dingle Basin Floating Debris Booms Project, generally consisting of provision and installation of two floating booms for the purpose of collecting debris in the water flowing through Dingle Basin. The Engineer’s Estimate for this Project is $95,000.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the project site (Sumner-Buckley Highway & Mundy Loss Road in Pierce County).

Bids must be received on the Bid Form in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) no later than Thursday, July 9, 2020, by 2:00 pm using one of the methods described in the ITB.  All bids will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud.  Bidders and other properly interested parties are invited to join per instructions in the ITB.  Bids not received prior to the specified time may be returned without consideration at the discretion of Cascade, which reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bid or in the bidding.  Each Bid shall be made on the forms listed in the ITB and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Cascade and labeled with the Bidder’s name.  The Bid(s) and Contract are subject to compliance with prevailing wage standards of RCW Chapter 39.12, and all reporting requirements.
