Plant a bed of flowers to support your home-grown pest control. It is easy and fun to raise flowers from seed. Join Lisa Taylor, author of the “Maritime Northwest Garden Guide” and “Your Farm in the City; An Urban Dweller’s Guide to Growing Food and Raising Animals” and garden educator extraordinaire in a spirited session all about growing your own flower starts. We’ll explore the flower timetable so your planting stays on schedule. We’ll learn about growing indoor under lights, great seed sources and flowers that are easy to grow and beloved by wildlife. Flowers feed beneficial insects and the gardener’s soul.
